A Core Value of AUMC is Courageous Outreach.
This means... We love God’s creation, practice being stewards of the earth, and teach environmental justice. We volunteer and lead ministries of feeding, housing, caregiving, and dignity in our community and world. We multiply outreach through collaboration with other communities of faith, schools, and civic partners. We invite those who wish to join in our mission and belong as active partners in our ministry.
AUMC Youth
We are an inclusive, queer affirming space space for young people (6th-12th Grades) to explore their faith, navigate daily life, and build friendships, all while having a great time! Through service projects, field trips, lock-ins, cooking classes and more, we provide a positive, welcoming environment for teens (and almost-teens) to come together. All of our Children and Family events/ programs are designed to partner with families to meet you and your children where you are and for who you are as we grow in faith together. It is our mission to create and hold spaces both inside and outside of the church where every child knows they are seen, loved, and safe to explore and grow in their individual faith journey.
