Wherever you are on your path, we welcome you.
Our topics intentionally reflect the breadth of the adult spiritual experience. You might learn about the “how-to’s” of prayer, or what it means to be a Methodist, or dig deeply into the history and interpretation of the Bible, or learn about topics related to justice and mercy in our community.
Informing & supporting adults on their journeys of faith.
We offer a wide range of adult education and spiritual development opportunities throughout the year including retreats, ongoing and seasonal classes. Different groups meet online and in-person. See below for current educational opportunities.

Biblical Kaleidoscope
Tuesdays, 6pm, Zoom.
BK has been meeting for 22 or so years. We began meeting on Zoom during Covid and have continued because it allows participation for people who have physically moved away. And eliminates driving issues. We average 9-12 members each week.
We read directly from the Bible, using as many translations as available. Each week we select a challenge from the scripture we studied that we can put into practice in our lives.

Sunday Insights
Sunday Insights meets from 9 to 10 AM in the church library. We watch a 30-minute lecture from The Great Courses and then discuss it for the rest of the hour. There are usually 24 lectures per course. Our focus is on History, Philosophy, and Religion. Some past course examples are "Understanding Greek and Roman Technology", a fascinating overview of the ancient world. As well as "The Triumph of Christianity", also 24 lectures, taught by Bart Ehrman.
All are welcome and no registration is needed.

Wednesday Afternoon Book Club
For this group, members suggest books in September for the following calendar year and final selections are made at the October meeting. Interested readers are invited to the monthly discussions, which are announced in the monthly AUMC Circuit Rider. You will need to borrow or buy books for this study!
The group does not meet at all in the month of November and meets the first Wednesday in December instead of the 4th Wednesday to accommodate around the holidays!

Soulfeast
Do you ever come away from worship services at wishing you had an opportunity to further explore the richness of the sermon and music and liturgy? Would you like to hear what touched the souls of other worshippers? What challenged the souls of other worshippers? To discuss ways to incorporate the experience of worship into the coming week?
Regardless of which service you attend, consider participating in Soul Feast, a gathering designed to give your soul a “feast” of conversation and reflection each Sunday from 9:15-10:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
