Giving

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

- Matthew 6:21

Why we give.

One of our five core values at AUMC is "Sacrificial Generosity". Just as God extravagantly loves us, we respond by generously sharing our gifts of time, talents, and resources. We acknowledge that through this practice of giving our own faith is strengthened. We support our ministries and missions to be a part of something bigger than ourselves that truly changes lives

Ways To Give

Give Online

Quickly access online giving by visiting arvadaumc.org/give or on your AUMC App (available on Amazon, Apple, and GooglePlay). On the app, click on the purple "Giving" tile at the bottom of the home page or click the "Giving icon on the far right of the menu bar on the bottom of your screen.

Give In Person

An in-person offering is collected on Sunday mornings at both our 8:15am and 10am worship services. Just place your gift (cash or check) in the plate as it is passed. You can also bring checks to the church office during office hours (Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm  & Friday, 8am-12pm)

Mail A Check

Make checks payable to “Arvada United Methodist Church” and mail to 6750 Carr St, Arvada, CO 80004. If you would like your donation to go towards a specific ministry or fund, please indicate this in the memo line.
AUMC Legacy Fund
The purpose of the New Foundations Legacy Fund Campaign is to inspire, motivate, and activate AUMC members and friends to contribute pledged assets in the form of estate gifts, liquid funds, gifts-in-kind, memorial gifts, and stock resources to grow the church’s endowment to at least $1.5 million to offset capital expenses of building maintenance and improvement so as to reduce the financial burden on future operating budgets and missional ambitions of the congregation. This campaign will publicly launch in January 2023 and will gather pledges and contributions through at least Dec. 31, 2025. Click the image above to learn more.
United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
UMCOR is The United Methodist Committee on Relief aka the United Methodist Church's 'red cross." What makes UMCOR unique, however, is that 100% of your giving to UMCOR goes to direct relief in disaster response, coordination with communities and local partners, and focusing on five core areas of health, hunger, refugees, emergencies, and relief supplies along with programs in migration, food security, and environmental sustainability.

UMCOR's guiding principle is "early in and last out", in coordinating and providing emergency assistance anywhere in the world. UMCOR was founded by Bishop Herbert Welch in response to displaced and vulnerable populations after WWII.
