Every new chapter begins with a name. Names carry identity, purpose, and promise. This July, as Pastor Matt begins his ministry at Arvada UMC, we’re taking four weeks to make our introductions - not just to each other, but to the God who already knows our names and is doing something new among us.
There is something sacred about gathering around a campfire. Stories are shared. Wisdom is passed on. Laughter and tears mingle in the glow of the flames. Throughout Scripture, God’s people told stories around fires, tables, wilderness camps, and family gatherings to remember who they were and whose they were. This August, we’ll gather around the “campfire” of faith and revisit some of the Bible’s most memorable stories—not simply as ancient history, but as living stories that still shape our lives today. These are stories of courage, grace, hope, and God’s surprising presence.
Family Worship
On Family Worship Sundays (typically held on the first Sunday of the month), we do not have Children or Youth Programming as we encourage our families to attend worship with us together! At these 10 am services, there is a children's message and activity, kids’ worship bags, and children's bulletins to help keep kids of all ages engaged in worship in their own way! Kids in worship spaces matter. Kids seeing YOU worship matters.
Please note, Children of ALL ages are welcome in the Sanctuary (or other worship space) during ANY service time!

Sunday Fellowship
Join us for Fellowship in the Narthex (the lobby area just outside of the Sanctuary) after each service! Coffee, donuts, and treats are served every Sunday in between worship services.
