Kids' Discovery Days Preschool

NAEYC Accredited for over 27 years- AUMC is proud to host the Kids' Discovery Days Cooperative Preschool. The preschool doors are open to families of all races, all family structures, all religious faiths, and all economic backgrounds. Children attending our school are accepted as they are, not required to change in order to fit a predetermined goal, either before or during attendance in our school. Instead, we strive to enrich the life of each child, nurturing their individual growth and development.

Kids' Discovery Days is a play-based program where children naturally learn through play by engaging in and making sense of their world. Guided play is self-chosen, enjoyable, and process-oriented. These opportunities are experiences that are child-directed and teacher-facilitated in which teachers take an active role as intentional planners, observers, and guides.
