AUMC Youth is an inclusive, queer affirming space for young people (6th-12th Grades) to explore their faith, navigate daily life, and build friendships, all while having a great time! Through service projects, field trips, lock-ins, cooking classes and more, we provide a positive, welcoming environment for teens (and almost-teens) to come together.

Join us Sunday morning for Bible study, games, and snacks! We use a variety of curriculums depending on youth interest, but our Sunday morning discussions center around critical thinking and how we can apply the Bible stories we learned as kids to life as a teenager in the 21st century (bullying, academic pressure, social media, etc).

We know early Sunday mornings can be difficult, especially during middle and high school, so afternoons  seem a little easier! Everyone is welcome at our youth group meetings. Youth Group meetings are a safe space for our young people to find friends and decompress from their busy lives, while exploring hobbies and activities they might not get to at school! Youth Group is usually at AUMC but may change if we are taking a field trip

Every week, we send out two youth emails. The first email has everything you need to know about what's coming up with AUMC Youth- from Youth Group, to Mission Trip, to Sunday mornings, and everything in between! The second email has information about upcoming activities our youth are involved in- performances, games, etc. We share this so we can support each other outside of church too!
