New Foundations Legacy Fund

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Matthew 6:21

What is the Legacy Fund?

The purpose of the New Foundations Legacy Fund Campaign is to inspire, motivate, and activate AUMC members and friends to contribute pledged assets in the form of estate gifts, liquid funds, gifts-in-kind, memorial gifts, and stock resources to grow the church’s endowment to at least $1.5 million to offset capital expenses of building maintenance and improvement so as to reduce the financial burden on future operating budgets and missional ambitions of the congregation.

Why grow our endowment?

Prepares our church building for the future by assisting with its capital needs.
Prepares our church programmatically for the future by being used to form and fund new ministries as times change and new needs arise in the community.
Helps protect against hard times and disasters by being used to meet the financial needs at such times.
Increases our church's financial standing and credit-worthiness so that future expansions can be made in response to expanding community ministries.
