2013 Youth Mission Trip: Upper South Platte River Conservation 
When: August 4th - 10th, 2013
Where: Woodland Park, CO 
Stay at: Mountain View UMC in Woodland Park, CO
NO COST

We will help with wildfire rehab and watershed restoration.  We'll primarily be in two burn areas, the Hayman and Waldo Canyon Fires.  We'll work to protect streams, water supplies and structures – schools, churches, homes, etc. from damage resulting from erosion and flooding.  We'll also work on forest health projects to protect habitat, promote healthier ecosystems and prevent catastrophic wildfire.

2010 JAAVA Joint Intergenerational Mission Trip
This June 19-25 our cooperative parish, consisting of Arvada UMC, Jefferson Ave. UMC, and Applewood Valley UMC will go on a mission trip to the UMCOR West Depot in Salt Lake City, Utah. Please join us on March 6, 2011 in the Chapel after the 10:00 service for a brief information session about the trip and for an opportunity to sign up.
