Be in the JAAVA Spiritual Loop

Join the Yahoo! group for members and friends of the JAAVA churches (JAAVA is short for Jefferson Avenue UMC, Applewood Valley UMC, Arvada UMC).  An easy and timely way to get the word out about events and to hear about them from others.   Also an opportunity to participate in online discussions of spiritual books and ideas.  For security and privacy, only group members may post or read the postings.

To join:

1.  Browse to JAAVA Spiritual Interests and request membership, naming the JAAVA church with which you are connected.

More detailed instructions:

1.  Browse to JAAVA Spiritual Interests
2.  At the Yahoo! sign in page…
     1.  If you already have a Yahoo! ID, use it to Sign In
     2.  If not, find the Sign Up link and follow the directions to get a (free) Yahoo! ID. 
3.  At the page to join our group…  (If not try #1 again.)
     1.  Enter contact information and choose message delivery.
     2.  In the text box to request to join the group, include the JAAVA church name that you are connected with.
     3.  Click the Join button.  You will receive an email that your request has been received. 
     4.  After your membership is set up, you will receive another email.   (Membership requests are processed by the group moderator, so this won't happen instantaneously.)

Reiki 
 Reiki is a Japanese word that basically means universal life force energy.
The practice of Reiki is a non invasive "hands on" modality that is used for calming and stress relief.
