The John Allen Memorial Library at AUMC, dedicated March 28, 1999, has a diverse collection of books for adults, youth and children – as well as a variety of magazines, audio cassettes, videos, CD's, DVD's, and chess sets. A computer is available for use in the library, also. Everyone is welcome!
Junior & Pre-teen Collection . . . stacks 19 & 20 - books for the pre-teen (9-12) are labeled with green stickers for easy identification.
Children’s Corner . . . a special space has been created in the Library for children. PLEASE help us insure the safety of the children with adult supervision while they are in the library. Enjoy the experience of coming into the library with a child and discovering what is available for check-out.
A small collection of books for children dealing with special and sometimes difficult issues is located on the top of the children’s cabinet. These are easily identified with red stickers on the spines to set them apart from the rest of the collection and parental guidance is suggested.
